Con la gente de Uni Racing estamos empezando a trabajar en la decoración de la 660.
La idea es hacer unos kits de adhesivos que decoren pero también protejan la pintura. En la ST1200 me fueron muy bien y aguantaron perfectamente casi dos años de trato duro.
Prefiero los vinilos que la pintura precisamente por su resistencia y también porqué el resultado es reversible cuando quieras sin tener que pasar por el pintor.
Seguramente haremos dos conjuntos que sean complementarios y que una vez probados se comercializarían:

El kit standard cubrirá gran parte del depósito, especialmente en el lateral que es más fácil de dañar por el roce de las rodillas. También decorará el frontal (protección contra ramas) y el guardabarros delantero. El vinilo utilizado es brillante y permite una impresión muy buena.
El kit de protección cubriría las zonas más expuestas de la moto y por eso lo haremos con vinilo lenticular que es muy grueso, además tiene una textura rugosa que lo hace especialmente resistente a la abrasión. Se pega muy bien pero quiero probarlo antes ya que me da miedo que no se adhiera bien en el plástico rugoso de los laterales.

No os fijéis en el diseño del fotomontaje ya que es posible que no se parezca en nada, es para hacerse una idea de dónde irían colocados.

Ya estoy empezando a hacer pruebas, son prototipos hechos a mano simplemente para ir viendo como quedan y si se pegan bien. Además los definitivos pueden tener más colores además del negro. Estos plásticos son muy prácticos y resistentes pero el acabado es «barato». No se que opinaréis pero creo que se mejora bastante con el vinilo lenticular.

I prefer the vinyl in front to the paint, they are stronger but also the result is reversible without having to go through the painter.
The two sets t are complementary and once proven they could be commercialized:
The standard kit will cover most of the tank, especially on the side that is more easily damaged by rubbing the knees. Also it decorate the front (protection against branches) and the front fender. The vinyl used is bright and shiny and allows a very good impression.
The protection kit cover the most exposed areas of the bike. They use lenticular vinyl witch is very thick, and has a rough texture that makes it particularly resistant to abrasion. It sticks very well but I want to try it before because I’m afraid that will not stick well to the rugged plastic sides.
Pay no attention to the design of photomontage as it may not appear at all, is only to get an idea of where they would go in place.
I’m starting to do tests, they are handmade prototypes just to see if they stick well. Furthermore, the final may have more colors besides black. These plastics are very practical and sturdy but the finish is «cheap». I don’t know your opinion but I think that the look is much improved with the vinyl lenticular.
