He aprovechado estos días tan bonitos de primavera para hacer un par de salidas cortas por los alrededores de mi casa. Es un privilegio tener unos paisajes tan fantásticos a unos pocos minutos de donde vivo.

Me han servido también para probar las alforjas Mojavi de Giant Loop, ideales para salidas cortas de un día donde sólo hay que llevar herramientas, agua y algo de ropa.

En principio me las quedé para la Sherco, son unas bolsas pensadas para enduros, pero las probé en la 660 y van muy bien creo que al final las usaré más en la Ténéré que en la Sherco.

Son dos pequeñas alforjas laterales más un a bolsa superior que se puede sacar y poner. En ésta es donde me cabe perfecto la bolsa que ya tenía de herramientas. En las laterales se puede poner algo de ropa, comida… Además he encontrado la forma de atar un bidón de bici con agua así que en un espacio reducido llevo todo lo necesario sin tener que llevar una mochila.

Para atarlas es muy fácil, llevan dos tipos de correas en la parte de atrás en función del tipo de moto. Unas con un gancho metálico para fijarlas al guardabarros trasero para las enduros y otra que me va perfecta para atarla a la parrilla de OTR. En la parte delantera llevan una correa a cada lado para atar en el subchasis. En mi caso las pongo en el anclaje de los estribos del pasajero.

También llevan dos correas más para empequeñecer las bolsas laterales que aprovecho para atar a los soportes de las maletas, de esta forma no se mueven en absoluto.

Van tan bien que ya no las he sacado desde que las puse. Aquí os dejo unas fotos y el vídeo de estas dos salidas.

I have used these beautiful spring days to do a couple of short trips around my house. It is a privilege to have such fantastic landscapes just a few minutes from where I live

I have also tested the Mojavi saddlebag from Giant Loop, ideal for day trips where you just have to carry tools, water and some clothes.

The original idea was to use it for the Sherco , they are designed to endure bikes , but I tried it in the 660 and fit very well so probably I will use it more in the Ténéré than in the Sherco .

They are two small side bags plus a third on the top that can be removed. On the side ones you can put on some clothes, food … and I put the tools bag on the top one, it fits perfect. I also found a way to tie a water bottle, so in a small space you can have everything you need without having to carry a backpack which I hate.

It is very easy to tie, it have two types of belts in the back depending on the type of bike. Some with a metallic hook to fix in the rear fender for the endure bikes and one that I will tie in the OTR rear rack. At the front it has a belt on each side to tie into the subframe. In my bike I tie them in the passenger’s foot peg brackets.

It also has two more belts to belittle the side bags. I use them to attach it to the luggage bars and they get perfectly fitted.
